THE PERFECT NUDE

I've spent basically forever looking for 'the perfect nude' nail polish to suit my skin tone. I have quite warm coloured skin so I tend to go for peachy toned nudes so they don't look too dull. I purchased Topshop's 'Mannequin' and if I'm totally honest, it just got lost within my never ending collection of nail polishes. I rediscovered it one day when I was picking out a nail polish to wear and oh my goodness... who knew I would love a nude so much!? I'm not the biggest fan of Topshop's nail polish usually as I find the brushes are too small therefore making my nail polish a total mess as it just doesn't go on smooth. I couldn't resist this colour though so I made my best attempt to apply it smoothly. I can't believe this had been sitting in my drawer for so long! I'm completely in love with this colour! It's just the perfect shade of nude to suit my skin tone. Well Done Topshop!

AUTUMN WISHLIST

It's autumn, possibly my favourite time of the year. I've been working like crazy recently so I haven't really had time to go shopping like I usually do. It's slightly concerning that I still have 90% of my wages still in the bank. If this doesn't scream out for a shopping trip, I don't know what does. I went shopping today and surprisingly just wasn't impressed. That's always the case isn't it, when you have lots of money to spend you see nothing you love.

At the beginning of my shopping trip, I popped into Fenwicks for a little browse. Of course, I was drawn towards the Laura Mercier counter and spent far too much time smelling and testing products. I completely and utterly fell in loooove with the verbena collection. I sprayed the verbena eau de toilette onto a tester card and after smelling it foooorever, popped it into my bag. Throughout my entire shopping trip I kept getting the card out and smelling it, falling more and more in love each time I did. I decided that I am most definitely going to purchase the set (of course I can't pick just one!). If you are near a Laura Mercier stockist you should most definitely pop in and have a look at the verbena range if you like fresh scents. This one's a winner.

Whilst having a not so little stalk of the internet to find out what lipstick Kylie Jenner's been wearing recently. Don't deny it, we've all done it since her lips doubled in size and all been equally jealous. I came across a couple of mixed opinions. From Faux to Honey Love, nobody really knows what lipstick she's wearing as I've saw at least 10 different MAC shades that people are assuming it is. I had a browse in my local MAC and I fell in love with honey love. I personally think it suits my skin tone really well. Honey love is most definitely my next lipstick purchase.

I've been looking for a new watch forever and Olivia Burton sprung to mind. I absolutely love Olivia Burton watches as they're super cute and simple and will go with anything. I picked out this beautiful white one as I think it'll look lovely with my skin tone as I'm quite tanned. I also love the powder blue watch with the white dial but it was impossible to track down anywhere.

It's no shock that there's something from Whistles included in my wishlist, right? I've been loving mules recently and Whistles had the ones which are perfect for my tiny size three feet. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, Primark have basically the same ones in for a quarter of the price! I did try them on but Primark shoes just never fit me properly. Whistles forever.

If you've been reading for a while, you'll know that my favourite perfume EVER is Dolce & Gabbana's L'Impératrice. I'm running out of this, so of course, I'll be repurchasing this little favourite as soon as I get the chance.

And last, but certainly not least, I found these Michael Kors earrings a while back and haven't been able to find them anywhere since. Help!? I completely fell in love with the tortoise ones with the stones around the outside but I saw these ones and they just got me. I neeeeeed these little beauties in my life. If anyone knows where you can purchase these I'll be forever grateful if you let me know!

Let me know if you enjoyed this post!

PARKS LONDON AROMATHERAPY CANDLE

If you know me, you'll know that I'm a complete candle fanatic. A few months ago, I decided to try out a Parks London candle as I'd saw them quite a few times and loved the packaging. I purchased the 'Cinnamon and Clove' aromatherapy candle and just fell in love. I'm a sucker for anything warm scented and this was beyond amazing. I loved it so much I decided to purchase a second candle from this company and I realised I didn't have any 'fresh' candles so I searched around and came across their 'Green Tea' candle. Oh my goodness, this smells AMAZING! If I'm totally honest I'm not the biggest fan of the smell of green tea but this scent is nothing like the real thing. It smells so fresh and clean which is such a lovely change to have around my room. This candle, along with my other Parks candle, are the best I've ever tried and I've tried a whole lotta candles. I've basically used all of my Cinnamon and Clove candle and it still smells as great as it did when I first bought it. The smell never wears away no matter how many times it's lit. Parks London are by far my new go-to candle company. I'm so impressed. If you've never tried any candles I highly suggest having a look at Parks London's collection as they don't disappoint. Well done Parks!

INTERIOR DESIGN/HOME INSPO

Interior design is basically what I live for. I'm absolutely obsessed when it comes to decorating and interiors. I'm currently mid-decorating my bedroom, for the millionth time, and also in the planning stages of redecorating my bathroom. I thought I'd share with you all a little home inspo if you're thinking about redecorating as all of these images are what I'm basing my bedroom on currently. I'm completely in love with the light interiors with greenery at the moment so you'll notice a little theme going on. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the images that are included in this post. They have been saved over a period of months from Pinterest! Enjoy...

THE CONTENTS OF MY BAG

Finally, I've found myself with enough time on my hands to write a blog post. Life has been super busy these past couple of weeks so I'm currently just trying to squeeze writing blog posts in at any given moment. I like to keep my bag reasonably tidy as I just feel more organised that way. I thought I'd do a post showing you all the contents of my bag as it's one of my favourite topics to read/watch YouTube videos about. So here we go... the contents of my bag!

My three ultimate essentials. My Michael Kors watch, Dolce and Gabbana's L'Imperatrice 3 perfume and my cat eye sunglasses.

These are the items that are currently in my bag. Miranda Kerr's Treasure Yourself is such a wonderful book. I love to keep it with me as it's such a positive and uplifting book about self worth. My iPhone and iPhone charger come everywhere with me as my phone has an awful habit of dying every couple of hours, I'm in desperate need of a new one. My camera charger and my camera (which I'm taking these images on) also come everywhere with me as I just find my camera takes much better quality images than my iPhone and also is water and shock proof. Finally, my trusty Ted Baker purse which I've had forever. And by forever, I mean about five years. I just can't bring myself to buy a new one, it's my favourite as you can probably tell.

My pug eye mask also travels with me a whole lot as I tend to have spontaneous long car trips so, if I'm not driving of course, I love to lie in the back of the car with my eye mask on and go to sleep. I have actually used this whilst flying places and I absolutely love it. My Victoria's Secret bag is always in my bag as it's that perfect size which can fit inside of my bag without having to squeeze it in.

Inside of my makeup bag. My Real Techniques buffing brush. Topshop brow pencil in Spike, YSL Babydoll mascara, MAC's Studio Fix Fluid, Topshop Lipstick in  Nevada and YSL eye cream.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

BUYING GIFTS FOR MEN

There's nothing I love more than buying gifts. Buying gifts for men on the other hand, is a much harder task in itself. Every year my boyfriend buys me amazing gifts and when it comes to it, I just don't have a clue what to buy him! I thought I'd do a 'buying gifts for men' post as I find them super helpful when I'm looking for gifts and seeing as Christmas is coming fast (92 days and counting), this might come in very helpful! I tend to brainstorm everything that they're interested in or that I know they love as a starting point and then work my way from there. I've just been shopping for my boyfriends birthday presents so here's just a few ideas of gifts that you could buy your other half, or even your granddad...

A classic shirt
What man isn't ever going to need a shirt in his life!? I personally love shirts as they're so basic yet can make a whole outfit a million times better. I totally love this Ralph Lauren shirt.

A really good quality bag
Everyone needs just a really good quality bag in their life. I completely fell in love with this one from Ted Baker and it would be ideal for autumn.

A pair of casual yet 'goes with everything I own' shoes
There's no better colour than black. And I bought my boyfriend these black Polo Ralph Lauren plimsolls for his birthday. He spotted them whilst we were out shopping and has mentioned them a few times since so I can't wait for him to see them. They'll go with just about any outfit, casual or dressy.

A timeless watch
Ok, ok, well not literally timeless. That would totally defeat the object of a watch, right? But I do love this Michael Kors watch as it's so classic yet sophisticated.

An aftershave which smells amazing
I'm not too fussed on men's aftershave if I'm totally honest. Paco Rabanne's One Million is by far the best I've smelt though. I like it a whoooole lot.

And finally... just a really good pair of underpants
There's nothing worse than ugly underwear and I think less is more. I like the Calvin Klein underwear as it's so simple yet classic. Ok, I'll stop before this gets weird. But really, nice underwear is a necessity.

I hope you enjoyed this post,
Let me know if you have any recommendations for future posts,

WHAT'S ON MY FACE?

I often look back at photos and think 'I wish I knew what makeup I was wearing'. I done my makeup a few weeks back and thought I'd start a post about it. It was one of those ones where I click 'save' and totally forget about it. I was scrolling through my drafted blog posts and found this half completed so here I am, finally completing it (hopefully all this time). I was going out for my friends birthday and I was going quite dressed down so I wanted my makeup really nice yet still casual if you understand what I'm going on about. If you're wondering, I used my Real Techniques 'Core Collection' set to apply all of this makeup. I also used my Laura Geller Double Ended Shadow/Liner Brush which is my ultimate favourite brush to apply eye shadow with. I used Dimples eyelashes in 118. I use these eyelashes religiously as they're so natural yet add length at the same time so can be used during the day and also if you're going out for an occasion.

Products used
MAC's Studio Fix Fluid foundation in the shade NC15
Laura Geller's Blush-N-Brighten in the shade Pink Buttercream
MAC's Soft and Gentle Skinfinish
MAC's Bronzing Powder in the shade Golden
MAC's Concealer in the shades NC15 and NW30
Eyelure Eyelash Glue
MAC Eyeliner
YSL Babydoll Mascara
Urban Decay's Naked Palette - I used Virgin, Sin, Smog and Darkhorse.

MY MAKEUP STAPLES

I'm the kind of girl who finds something she loves and sticks to it forever (which is an absolute nightmare when products become discontinued). Even though I'm always trying new things, I will always go back to the same things over and over again. This post is going to be all about those products which I just can't live without and will probably forever repurchase.

Urban Decay's Naked Palette
I'm well aware that Urban Decay have brought out multiple Naked palettes but yet I still keep going back to the original. I personally think that bronze tones are best suited with my features so this may be why I keep returning. As you can tell from the image, Sin is my absolute favourite. I've used the others a lot so this just shows how much I've used Sin. I love applying Sin all over my eyelid and then applying Smog in the crease for a lovely everyday yet subtle smoky eye look.

The Body Shop Lip Balm in Pink Grapefruit
I actually received this as a gift from my boyfriend and I completely fell in love with it. I'm a sucker for anything with a pink grapefruit scent and this one was a winner. My lips are forever smelling amazing. You should so check it out if you haven't already!

No7 Lash and Brow Perfector
I've only recently started filling my eyebrows in and by recently, I mean a couple of months. I always use No7's Lash and Brow Perfector as my eyebrows like to go a little craaaaazy the majority of the time. Quite frankly, they just do what they want. This just helps to keep them in place and keep any strays at bay.

Bare Minerals Prime Time Foundation Primer
I started using Prime Time quite a few years ago and to this day still love it. It's super light and makes my skin so soft once applied. I use this every single day and don't plan on stopping anytime soon!

Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC15
I used to use Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua for a while when I decided it just wasn't giving me enough coverage that I'd like. I tried Mac's Studio Fix Fluid and oh my goodness, I don't regret anything. This foundation gives so much coverage compared to the vitalumiere aqua and is the perfect shade for my skin. Yes, I know what you're thinking. "Isn't NC15 the lightest shade MAC make?" Yes. I love wearing NC15 as it is just the right shade and I can always add bronzer and other products to darken the tone wherever necessary. Perfect.

Mac's Morange lipstick
I know, Morange again. You've probably saw Morange in a whole lot of my favourites but it just ain't going anywhere. As I've wrote about Morange a million times, I won't bore you anymore. It's still by far my favourite Mac lipstick.

Mac Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
I actually ran out of Soft and Gentle a few months ago and waited about two/three weeks to buy it again as I didn't think I'd miss it. It's one of those products that you just don't appreciate until it's gone. I repurchased it and then applied for the first time in weeks and fell in love all over again. I love it sooooo much. It just adds that finishing touch that my makeup needs.

MY CURRENT WISHLIST #2

August has came to an end and surprisingly, there's not too much I've spotted that I loved this month. There are a few things though so I thought I'd share my current wishlist with you all!

Philosophy's hope in a jar night cream - £38
If I'm totally honest I've read a lot of mixed reviews about this product ranging from smelling like wet dog to being the best product ever. I love every Philosophy product I've tried so far so I'm hoping I'll love this too! I don't currently use any night treatments so I'd love to give this a try.

Topshop's lipstick in Ditsy - £8
I was in Topshop when I saw this super cute shade ditsy and fell in love. I purchased Ohh La La a couple of months back and I always use it so I thought I'd have a look at Topshop's other shades. This one's a fave.

Whistles rivington leather clutch bag - £80
If you read my last current favourites, you'll know that I featured the Whistles medium croc clutch, this is basically the same apart from it has a chain and is more of a rectangular shape. I'm so torn between the two of them! Help!

Kurt Geiger's Bond heels - £250
I'm obsessed with these heels. I love the super thin heel and the red/orange colour is my absolute favourite. NEEEEEED.

Elephant necklace from Overstock.com - £33
I used to have a little elephant pendant necklace from Topshop not too long ago but as it was on the cheaper end it changed colour which was super unattractive and just ended up looking dirty. I spotted this little beauty on overstock.com and fell in love as it's just the same as my old one yet will hopefully stay the same this time round.

Whistles ripped jeans - £145
I've wanted another pair of ripped jeans foooorever and spotted this pair in Whistles. Of course they had to go on my list. Ripped jeans + Whistles = LOVE.

Philosophy's French vanilla bean 3-in-1 - $17
If you didn't already know, I'm completely in love with anything from Philosophy. I was browsing the Sephora website and spotted the French vanilla bean 3-in-1. I've never actually saw the vanilla bean scent in the UK so I kinda freaked out when I saw this. I wanna try this soooooo bad!

YSL BABYDOLL MASCARA

It feels like absolutely foooorever since I last wrote a blog post. I've been super busy this past week as I officially finished training and finally started my new job. As you can imagine, if I haven't had time to blog, I most definitely haven't had time to shop so therefore I've purchased barely anything recently. I came across my YSL Babydoll mascara which I've been dying to use but I have a whole lotta other mascaras which need used up first. I basically just couldn't resist one morning whilst doing my makeup and I wasn't at all disappointed with the results. If I'm honest, I'm not the biggest fan of mascara. I just don't feel you can tell when someone's wearing a really nice one as, to me, most look the same after a few hours. I usually just find a one that I love and stick to it. I'm mostly just drawn to the packaging and this one's absolutely beautiful.

First I curled my eyelashes and then applied the YSL Babydoll mascara and instantly my lashes had so much more volume and length. I completely fell in love with this mascara! It also stays soooo well as by the end of the day it looked as though I had just applied it. It has a flexible brush which helps to prevent the wand from transferring mascara onto your eyelids whilst applying. So many people started asking if I was wearing false eyelashes as my lashes aren't long at all which was a massive compliment and made babydoll an absolute winner. I am most definitely planning on repurchasing this product. 10/10 from me!

GARNIER MICELLAR WATER REVIEW

Just about every time I read through beauty blogs I find myself scrolling past numerous reviews about Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water. If I'm completely honest, I just thought everyone was slightly crazy paying £5 for what looks like, and technically is, water in a bottle. Garnier states that 'like a magnet, the cleansing agents capture and lift away dirt from the skin'. They also state that the result is perfectly cleansed and refreshed skin without rubbing or rinsing.

I always find myself wanting my skin to feel super refreshed and just didn't have a product like this, so I decided to see what the hype was about. It was on offer in Boots for under £4 so I just grabbed one when I was in. I actually prefer to put this in the fridge as my house is super warm so when I'm ready to remove my makeup it's lovely and cold. If it's too cold for your skin, just remove it from the fridge an hour or so before using, or even just keep it out of the fridge. When I'm ready to remove my makeup, I just remove the micellar water from the fridge, apply to a cotton pad and then remove my makeup with it.

I found that this product removes waterproof mascara really well which is a massive factor for me as I absolutely love waterproof mascara but it is such a nightmare to remove! It really removes all of my makeup really well and is super sensitive on my eyes which is also a lifesaver as I'm forever finding myself in agony whilst having eye makeup remover invading my eyes. My favourite aspect of this is that it's sooooo great for refreshing my skin and is really great on a morning when my skin needs woken up. The only downside is that I feel this product leaves a little residue on my face, but that just may be me being a bit of a clean freak. Overall, I would most definitely repurchase!

OLD SCHOOL CORNFLAKE TART

There's nothing I love more than baking but sometimes there's just not enough time in the day so I decided to do a super quick, slightly cheating, cornflake tart. Yes, you read that right. Old school cornflake tart, just like you used to have in school! I had completely forgotten about this until my boyfriend mentioned it to me yesterday that he hadn't had one in forever. I was in my local supermarket before I went over to his house and I spotted a pastry case and since I had about an hour to spare I thought, why not make a super quick cornflake tart!? So I grabbed the pastry case, jam, cornflakes and golden syrup which came in super cheap at less than £4 for everything. Of course, the price will vary depending on what kind of ingredients you get and also the amount of ingredients will completely depend on personal taste also. I personally like a small amount of jam on the base and a lot of syrup and cornflakes but that's my personal preference! You can totally adapt this super quick recipe to suit you and your taste. You'll need your ingredients, a knife, a spoon and also a pan. So, here's how you do it...

- I placed the sweet pastry case on a clean surface.

- Evenly spread jam all over the bottom of the pastry case with a knife to cover it all.

- Place a pan over low heat and pour in your desired amount of golden syrup.

- Wait until the golden syrup is starting to become thinner and then add the cornflakes.

- Stir with a spoon for a couple of minutes to ensure that all of the cornflakes are covered in syrup.

- Once all covered, evenly spread the syrup covered cornflakes to the top of the tart.

And there you have it, A super quick and cheap old school cornflake tart.
Enjoy, I know I certainly did!

Do you have any super quick and easy recipes? Let me know!
I've put everything you need for this recipe, ingredients and utensils, in bold so if you decide you'd like to try it you won't have to search around!

I thought I'd show you all my top five favourite lipsticks as I love to read about other people's favourites, so why not share mine with you! My top five favourites range in price from £8-£26 so there's something for everyone's budget. Depending on how I feel and what I'm wearing I like to have a variety of lipsticks to match anything.

It's super pigmented and requires little application yet is still so bright therefore ensuring that it lasts so much longer than your average lipstick.

Chanel Rouge Allure in Extatique
You can adapt the intensity of the colour to suit you. It gets brighter with every application and is such a lovely yet sophisticated pink. I'm in love with the packaging.

JULY EMPTIES

I can't believe that July is over already! It seems like seconds ago we were just entering 2014 and now here we are, more than half way through the year. I thought I'd show you all of my 'empties' as I've gone through quite a lot of products last month. Basically, these are all of the products in which I've either came to the end to or have a tiny bit left of at the end of July. So here we go, my July Empties...

1. Chanel Correcteur Perfection Concealer in the shade 10 Beige Clair.
2. OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener
3. Lancôme Bi-Facil Eye Make-Up Remover
4. Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray
5. YSL Forever Youth Liberator Eye Cream
6. Bare Minerals Prime Time Brightening Foundation Primer
7. Urban Decay Primer Potion
8. L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Waterproof Mascara
9. Mac Lipstick in the shade Morange

As you may have guessed, I would most definitely repurchase all of these products. I love mini products as they let you try the product without having to commit to purchasing the full size product as sometimes they can be quite expensive so it's good to try it beforehand. I've had some of these products for quite a while so they most definitely have took a while to use up. I guess I'm in need of a little restock!

ESSIE'S FIJI

Over and over again I find myself watching YouTube videos or reading blog posts and spotting nail polishes that I just neeeeed in my life. That's exactly what happened with this one. I've saw people wearing this so many times and I've just been dying to know what it was. I was scrolling though blog posts one day and I saw that a lot of people were mentioning Fiji by Essie. I googled it and HALLELUJAH! I'd found it after what felt like forever. Of course, like the crazy nail polish obsessed woman that I am, basically ran to every single Boots or Superdrug near me to try and grab one. As you may have guessed, I wasn't disappointed with the results. I absolutely love the creamy pale pink colour, I'm usually not a fan of really light nail polish but this looks so sophisticated and goes with absolutely everything! It's so uplifting compared to the darker coloured nail polishes I usually wear and I'm already obsessed. Well Done Essie!

SUNKISSED SUMMER TAG

Summer is by far my favourite season of all and when I saw Ingrid do the Sunkissed Summer Tag I just knew I had to do it also! I've used her questions opposed to the original ones as I like this set better. Enjoy!

1. What is your go-to product for a sun kissed summer glow?
St.Tropez bronzing lotion! It's such a lovely colour that works really well on my skin tone.

2. What book would you recommend for a summer read?
Miranda Kerr - Treasure Yourself. I absolutely love this book! It's basically all about appreciating yourself and your self worth. It's also filled with positive affirmations so is super good for a little pick-me-up when you need one. I would highly recommend this book to anyone!

3. What's your signature summer scent this year?
Dolce and Gabbana's 3 L'Imperatrice is my go-to this summer. It's such a fresh scent yet so sophisticated.

4. The sun is shining and it's time to get outside! What's your favorite thing to do?
I loooove riding my bike when it's sunny! I also love to go out for lunch and have cocktails whilst sitting outside in the sun, go shopping, take my dog on a walk around the park and have picnics.

5. You're on the boardwalk and your stomach is grumbling. What's your go-to summer beach food?
When it's sunny I love to eat citrus fruits such as lemons and limes for a snack. If it's a meal I'm after I'll be more than happy with a thin margarita pizza with parsley. Healthy, I know!

6. Sunscreen is always important, but it's a MUST in summer! What's your favorite?
I prefer sun creams over oils as I have quite greasy skin to start with and oil based sunscreen just doesn't sit well on my skin. I like the St.Tropez and Piz Buin sun creams. My skin never really burns and tans well so I use SPF 6, guilty, I know!

7. After a day in the summer sun and heat, what do you do to cool off?
If I've been out in the sun all day I love to have a shower to remove all of the sun cream and products that are on my skin. I then love lying down in the shade with the air con on and some Lipton peach iced tea.

8. How do you wear your hair in the summer?
I tend to just wash my hair and then tie it up whilst damp so when I wake up it's tousled and messy. I always alternate all day between a messy bun and having the top half of my hair in a small messy bun and the bottom half down as I like to have my hair off my face whilst its hot.

9. Must-have nail polish for summer 2014?
Essie's Fiji. I am 100% in love. It's such a lovely neutral creamy pink and looks so wonderful!

10. Sometimes it just feels good to chill out and watch Netflix. What shows/movies do you recommend for summer?
I'm currently obsessed with Orange Is The New Black. Clueless will also forever be one of my favourites if you fancy a more girly film. It totally depends what mood I'm in.

11. Do you wear liquid foundation, BB cream, or tinted moisturizer in the summer?
I tend to wear liquid foundation but only a really thin layer as I don't like to feel as though I'm wearing any in the summer yet still want to have a little coverage.

12. It's super bright outside! Do you reach for sunglasses or a hat?
Both! I always sunglasses, even in the colder months. I just like them to wear either to keep my hair out of my face or the sun out of my eyes. I recently purchased a black floppy hat and I've been wearing it everywhere as I love it so much.

13. What is your summer jam this year?
I've recently discovered Lilly Ahlberg on YouTube and oh my goodness. Her voice is like a little piece of heaven and I can't stop listening to her covers! My favourite so far I think has to be her cover of Chocolate by The 1975.

14. Do you have a summer bucket list? If so, share some things on the list.
Before summer is over I reaaaally want to visit the aquarium, go for a picnic in the park, have a spontaneous weekend away and go to Alton Towers, which is a theme park a few hours away.

15. Bikini, tankini, or one piece?
I'm all for strapless bandeau bikini's this year! Minimal tan lines and all.

16. Summer means heat... and sweat! What's your favorite sweat proof product this year?
I've really loved the L'Oreal false lash telescopic waterproof mascara recently! It does such a great job of spreading your lashes out and giving length to them. It's such a nightmare to remove though but I suppose that's super great if you're wearing it whilst in water!

17. Summer wouldn't be complete without a scoop (or two) of ice cream! If you could create your own ice cream flavor, what would it be?
If I had to create my own flavour I think I'd choose either flying saucer or toasted marshmallow flavour! Oh, how I wish!

SCHWARZKOPF ESSENCE ULTȊME BIOTIN+ VOLUME REVIEW

I'm soooo guilty when it comes to choosing shampoo based on the smell. If it smells great, I'll use it! Conditioner, on the other hand, I'm super picky about. I have thin hair so find it pretty hard to find a conditioner which smells amazing and is light on my hair as it gets weighed down so easily. I first saw the Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Biotin+ advertised on TV and for some reason was drawn to it.  I decided to go for the volume range as I always need lift and volume in my hair, especially the roots, so why not! The shampoo smells kinda like a perfume I cant put my finger on and cleans my hair really well, it really cleanses it and removes any residue left from styling products. The conditioner smells AMAZING! If you love sun cream you will love this. Yes, you read that right, sun cream. The conditioner smells exactly like sun cream which I thought was just amazing as it's summer and reminds me so much of holidays abroad. I'm unsure if it intentionally smells like this or not, but either way I love it! It's light on my hair also which is a massive plus. I will most definitely be repurchasing these when I've ran out. I'm impressed Schwarzkopf!

BLEACH LONDON ROSÉ

I've spent forever loving pastel pink hair and also spent forever putting off buying it. I googled this product a million times before one day I just thought 'why not?', so here I am, dying my hair pink. I'm using the Bleach London Super Cool Colour in Rosé which can be purchased in Boots at a super cheap £5. I personally really like the smell although you can smell a bleach/strong undertone to it and I'm also a big fan of the packaging. Depending on the shade of your hair, the results of this product will vary. I don't plan on bleaching my hair beforehand as I already have highlights in my hair which will therefore cause my hair to not all turn out the same colour, which I'm well aware of. If you want all of your hair the same colour I suggest that you bleach all of the intended area. To apply this product it's quite simple;
- shampoo your hair as normal
- do not condition your hair
- towel dry your hair
- with gloves on, apply the dye to the area of your choice
- leave for 15 minutes +/- depending on how intense you want the colour
- wash off with luke warm water
- dry hair

I would highly recommend that you use gloves as I made the mistake of thinking that washing my hands thoroughly after would do the trick and boy was I wrong! I had pink fingers for around 2/3 days after which was not a good look. I left the dye on for 15 minutes and it came out quite light on my hair. It took so well to the lightest part of my hair, the top. Although it barely took to the bottom of my hair but did have a slight pink tinge in the sun but I wasn't too bothered as I'm not a fan of the 'block colour' look and I like lots of different shades. The colour washed out completely after one wash which was so disappointing as I loooooved the colour! This would be great for a festival or event in which you only wanted a 'quick fix' and wanted it to wash out before a certain time. I would most definitely be repurchasing this product as it's such a lovely colour for summer, is super fun and not to mention on the affordable side. Bleach London's Swamp Spritz is most definitely next on my list to try!

Have you ever tried Bleach London?

LONDON CALLING

Yesterday my family and I decided to have a trip into London for the day. It consisted of 9 hours driving, 4 tube journeys and a whole lotta shopping. We took Ella (my dog) with us so it meant that she couldn't go in any shops and we seriously considered buying a pram for the day as she's your typical lazy pug. As we only had around 5 hours shopping we stuck to our 'limited shopping time' rule where we only visit the shops which we don't have at home to make the most of our time here. I completely fell in love with & other stories, my latest discovery. I browsed online before we went so I could pick up the things I wanted, but I course, I wanted everything! I'm most definitely planning another longer trip up as soon as possible.

Travelling selfie.

I fell completely in love with all of the jewellery in Tiffany.

My latest discovery and I'm obsessed.

Ella's first tube journey!

I had planned to go to Paris to visit Ladurée sometime next year and it was actually on my bucket list as it's something I've dreamed about forever. Oh my goodness! I was freaking out!!! It was absolute heaven!

How did you spend your weekend?
